When I first started dabbling in Body Paint I never thought I could or would make an actual career out of it, but I really enjoyed creating new concepts in art and when I tried it out by turning myself into a cheetah for Halloween I was intrigued! I remained focused on finding a way where I could eventually charge for my creative services and run an actual business using Body Paint on humans as a canvas, helping others market their company and products. Thank goodness I trusted my intuitions and followed my dreams,  because I will be celebrating the release for my new book in June of 2014. COVERED, A Body of Work By Jen Seidel will be available for sale in late June- 2014 from my website www.JenSeidelCovered.com .

COVERED A Body of Work by Jen Seidel

In COVERED, A Body of Work by Jen Seidel, I share my personal story on how I got started in Body Paint, which has been  the most popular question for me over the years. I speak of my ups, down, challenges and success along the way. I have been shown that my story is an inspiration to many by following my passion and my dreams. I never gave up. If I can do it so can they. I am supposed to be doing my art for this reason among many others.  I am honored that I can put smiles on peoples faces and get them to stop, look and think for a moment, or maybe longer.

The book  in size is a 10.5 x 10.5 hard back featuring on the front cover, my most well known Body Paint image “Flower Girl” in an a spot varnish. This beautiful high def color coffee table book is designed to stand alone!

In addition to my personal story it features beautiful models and  images from many talented photographers I have had the honors of working with, along with several different charities, events, companies and brands.  Businesses that have used my services over the years found Body Paint to be a great way of adding that WOW factor to their event or ad campaign. Many of the businesses have repeatedly used us for years now, which has created a buzz with their guests and they look forward each year to having us back.

The book is self published and I work with 80 West Media who is helping me with the project as a whole. We will be booking signings and events at different venues throughout the year and I am looking forward to sharing my journey with the world as I continue to “Paint it Forward”.
